1. General
总述
The plate shall comply with the technical specifications and requirements of the specifications SA-612/SA-612M , SA-20/SA-20M in ASME BPVC SectionⅡ, Part A, 2013 Edition .
    钢板应符合本说明和ASME*Ⅱ卷A篇2013年版中SA-612/SA-612M，SA-20/SA-20M的标准要求。

3. Manufacture
制造
The steel shall be produced by one of the following primary steel making processes: open hearth, basic oxygen, electric-arc furnace. The steel shall be killed and shall have a fine austenitic grain size number of 5 or higher. If aluminum is used as the grain refining element, the fine austenitic grain size requirement shall be deemed to be fulfilled if, on heat analysis, the aluminum content is not less than 0.020% total aluminum or, alternatively, 0.015% acid soluble aluminum.   
钢的制造可采用以下任何一种一次炼钢工艺：平炉法、碱性吹氧转炉或电炉法。镇静钢，奥氏体晶粒度等级为5级或更高。当用铝作为细化晶粒元素时，如熔炼分析中总铝含量不低于0.020%或酸溶铝含量不低于0.015%，则可认为已满足细晶粒奥氏体的要求。
4. Heat Treatment

5. Chemical Requirements
化学成份
The steel shall conform to the requirements as to chemical composition prescribed inTable2.
钢的化学成份需符合表2要求。

（A）Applies to both heat and product analyses.

(C)The sum of chromium and molybdenum shall not exceed 0.32%.

6. Mechanical Requirements
机械性能
The plates as represented by the tension test specimens shall conform to the requirements prescribed in Table 3. The condition and gage length of test specimens shall be reported.
钢板的机械性能须符合表3要求。试件状态和标距应在质*中报告。

10. Identification of Plate
钢板标记
The identification of plate shall be according to SA-20/SA-20M, Para. 13. The required markings shall be legibly steel die stamped or marked by stenciling on finished plate in two places not less than 300mm from the edges, allowed paint marking.
Identification mainly includes the following contents，
1.Applied ASTM designation(year of issue not required);
2.Applied grade，type and class;
3.Heat number and plate identifier;
4.Name, brand, or trademark of the manufacturer (for plates produced in discrete cut lengths of flat profuct).
Other specification described in code.
钢板标记应符合SA-20/SA-20M中*13条的要求，每张钢板应有两处清晰的标记，标记距离钢板边缘不得小于300mm,允许采用喷码标识。
标记主要包括以下内容：
1.适用的ASME标准号；
2.适用的级别、型号及类别号；
3.炉批号及钢板识别符号；
4.制造厂的厂名，厂标或商标（对由平板产品分离切割所产生的钢板） 。
标准规定的其它要求。
11. Quality Certification
质量证明书
11.1  The manufacturer shall provide a material certificate complying with SA-20/SA-20M, to certify that the plate has been manufactured and tested in accordance with the requirements of the material specification.
钢厂应提供符合SA-20/SA-20M要求的质量证明书以证明该钢板的制造和试验符合材料标准要求。
11.2  The manufacturer shall report the results of all test required by the material specification and the contract and this specification. Heat number and nominal plate thickness shall be shown on the test reports.The year-date of the specification to which the plates are furnished shall be included in the test report.
质量证明书应有材料标准,合同和本材料采购技术条件要求的全部试验的结果数据。试验报告应注明炉号和钢板名义厚度。供货材料所用标准的年号也应在试验报告中注明。
