SMW-AUTOBLOK presents the new fully sealed standard chuck AcuGrind for high precision turning and grinding operations
The new standard chuck AcuGrind is designed for high precision turning and grinding operations. The AcuGrind chuck is fully sealed and low maintenance. Therefore the chuck ensures highest radial run out and repeatability not more than 0.002 mm. Due to the integrated pneumatic actuation, there is no hydraulic cylinder necessary. So, the AcuGrind ca be ideal installed on grinding machines. The chuck can be used for ID and OD clamping and will be delivered with a boring ring for ID clamping, a boring pin for OD clamping and lubricating oil as a standard. The new AcuGrind is available in the sizes 80 – 250 mm now.

D-plus - New open center diaphragm chuck
The D-plus comes with a open center and is ideally suited for the machining of shaft-type work pieces, e.g. input- or output shafts. Furthermore, all conventional gears can be machined. By means of the adjustable center, the work piece will be supported radial and positioned axial.The work piece will be clamped radial either at the pitchline of the gear or at the outside diameter. A standardized modular jaw system is available. The D-plus has also quick jaw change and centrifugal force compensation. The D-plus is available in the sizes 260 and 315 mm.
